JewelBooks.in provides online software tools for jewellery billing, accounting, stock management, GST reports, ledgers, customer schemes, barcode labels, invoices, payment tracking, backup and financial year closure.
3. User Accounts
Users must provide correct registration information and keep login details confidential. You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
4. Trial and Subscription
JewelBooks.in may provide a free trial for a limited period. After the trial period, users must complete the one-time payment to continue using the software. Current pricing shown on the website is one-time payment plus applicable GST and platform fees. A successfully paid one-time plan provides lifelong access to JewelBooks.in.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through an authorised payment gateway such as Cashfree. Subscription activation depends on successful payment confirmation. Prices, plans and taxes may be changed with notice on the website or dashboard.
6. Changes to Prices, Taxes and Fees
We may update prices, applicable taxes, platform fees or other charges for future purchases or renewals when tax laws or rates, government levies, payment or hosting costs, significant software updates, new features, or other material operating costs change. We will publish the revised pricing and give reasonable notice before it takes effect. Unless a change is required by law, it will not increase an amount already paid or change the price of an order already confirmed. Updated prices for a future renewal will apply only after notice; where a recurring plan is offered, you may cancel before the new price takes effect. Statutory tax changes will be applied as required by law.
7. Refunds and Cancellation
Subscription fees are generally charged for access to the software. Refunds, if any, will be reviewed case by case. Users may contact support for payment or subscription issues.
8. User Data and Accuracy
Users are responsible for the accuracy of invoices, GST reports, accounting entries, stock records, ledger balances, customer scheme records and all other data entered into the software. JewelBooks.in is a software tool and does not replace professional accounting, tax or legal advice.
9. GST, Accounting and Compliance
Reports generated by JewelBooks.in are intended to support business records and GST filing. Users should verify all values with their accountant or tax professional before filing returns or submitting official records.
10. Data Erase, Backup and Restore
If data is erased by the user or admin, it may not be recoverable unless a valid backup exists. Users should regularly download backups and carefully review any warning shown before deleting data.
JewelBooks offers an optional backup to your own Google Drive. It works only if you connect your Google account and allow access, it saves files in your Drive under your Google account and storage limits, and it depends on Google’s services being available. You are responsible for keeping any backup password safe, for checking that backups were saved, and for managing or deleting the files in your Drive. A backup is a copy for your convenience, not a guarantee that data can always be recovered.
AI features (such as the AI assistant, message polishing, bill photo reading and voice entry) produce drafts using third-party AI providers. Results can be incomplete or wrong. You must review every amount, party, GSTIN, message and voucher before saving or sending it, and you remain responsible for the records and messages you create.
11. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful content, interfere with software operation, reverse engineer the software or use JewelBooks.in for unlawful activities.
12. Service Availability
We aim to keep the software available and working smoothly. However, access may be affected by internet issues, hosting issues, maintenance, third-party services, payment gateway issues or unexpected technical problems.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JewelBooks.in will not be responsible for indirect loss, business loss, data loss, filing errors, tax penalties or damages arising from incorrect use, incorrect data entry, service interruption or reliance on generated reports without verification.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of JewelBooks.in after updates means you accept the revised terms.
